Monthly Stableford
Winter seems to be well under way now...the tees are pushed forward, the winter CSS is in play and to top it off we had, what can only be described as a typhoon pass through on Saturday for the Monthly Stableford... But how did everybody get on?
We had 92 brave or daft golfers (depends which way you look at it) take to the course, some of which called it a day after 9 holes and some even walked in from the deepest parts of the course. Of those who stayed out there, Mark Sandy came out on top with a fantastic 37 points! Mark has put his success not only down to the huge depth of skill he possess nor the endless hours of practice he puts in but it is in fact the Srixon irons he treated himself to after being crowned 5 Club Knockout Champion. If you were thinking it is just a coincidence that Mark has Srixon irons and has won with them then you would be wrong... Because sitting in third place was Paul Langridge, who has also bought some Srixon irons.
If that's not enough to convince you about Srixon irons then what if I told you Golfer of the Year, Bob Florence has just placed an order for Srixon after increasing his ball speeds and hitting the ball further!
Blue Tee Championships
After weeks of speculation the sign up has officially opened for the Blue Tee Championships which are as follows:
Friday 27th November: 9 holes Pairs Yellow Ball Stableford, 2pm Shotgun. Entry £10 per pair.
Saturday 19th December: 18 holes Individual 3 Club Challenge, 12pm-12:30pm 1st tee & 11:30am-12:30pm 10th Tee. Entry £5 per player.
Thursday 24th December: 9 holes Staff Texas Challenge, 11:00am Shotgun. Entry £20 per team.
After play there will be a tea & cake in the clubhouse, a perfect opportunity to talk everybody through that well executed shot whether you meant to do it or not! Unfortunately we cannot guarantee golf that will impress Rory McIlroy but what we can guarantee is that you will have some laughs and a fun packed round of golf.... Sign up will be taken via the ProShop but do hurry as spaces are filling up fast!

With the countdown to Christmas underway we are running our Advent Christmas Raffle where we give away a prize every day in December right up until the big day. Range Mats
As you may be aware we have new mats on the driving range meaning we have retired the old ones so if you would like to give one a new home we are selling them for £25 each...perfect if you have a practice net in the garden or if you fancy changing the carpet in the front room!
