Bonus Ball is back with a bang

Its back! The long awaited return of our weekly Bonus Ball Draw is up and running. After almost six months in hibernation, it is with great pleasure not only to welcome back our draw but to report our first winner, who is none other than multiple winner on number 2 Peter "The Chef" Hewlett.

Each number costs £2 with the entire pot being returned to the winner as prizes. Peter won himself two Peter Millar tops. And guess what, he's already back on number 2 for this week. Entries are open seven days a week via email or by calling the shop on 01474 823 658

Club Manufacturer Days

Last weekend we welcomed Callaway to the club to hold a demo day for our members. One of our own members, Ryan Godwin, delivered a fantastic fitting session for 10 members to be fitted for and test Callaway's latest product.

We also had PING coming in to see us today, with six fittings fully booked to try everything PING has to offer. Then, on Wednesday, 14th October we welcome Titleist for six hours of fittings between 9:00am - 3:00pm.

These demo days prove to be extremely popular amongst members and both days are fully booked.

We will also have Titleist coming back sometime later this year for a demo day on their new driver and fairway wood releases. If you wish to be a part of that, please speak to a member of the team in the Professional Shop.

The secret to a successful winter

Practice makes perfect, right? But perfect practise gets you there a lot faster. We've said it before - and we'll no doubt say it again - but winter provides the ideal opportunity to iron out some of those faults that have crept into your game.

It starts with a list

Begin by evaluating (out of ten) how close you are to your target for each area of your game. It's always best to be completely honest with yourself when doing this. In other words, forget about the odd time when you've hit a shot like Tiger and focus on what happens consistently round after round.
