Welcome to another edition of our newsletter, in this week’s mail we take a look at the current changes on the course, The Masters is underway along with our sweepstake, and we have some great trade-in offers available in the shop. Enjoy the read!

Course news

Even the smallest details...

Danny and the boys have been working tirelessly throughout the winter with the bunker removal and renovations, but they are still paying close attention to even the smallest details.

This week they put out the new flags, poles and cups ready for the April Monthly Medal. As you will see, the solid white flagpoles stand out far more than the previous striped ones so hitting approach shots into holes like 5 and 17, where there are trees behind the green, will be easier.

You'll even notice the cups now have the club crest inside of them which could actually help your putting stats! Rather than looking the hole as a whole entity you can now pick out a specific point on the crest you want your ball to hit so if it does miss fractionally, the ball will still go in the hole!

You may have also noticed some work being done on the driving range to improve the mats. Each tier has been relayed with new matting which gives more realistic course like feedback. Not only will your practice be more productive but with the new layout, there will be space for you to practice.

Don't neglect your #3

A driver is a powerful beast, sometimes too powerful if a hole has a hazard within range. In this scenario, you have a plethero of options to choose from, but there is one that is often overlooked.

You're stood on a par-4 tee box and there’s a water hazard 240 yards away.

More to it than you think...
