Callaway Big Bertha So far we've expanded on all our teaser videos apart from now...until now that is. The final reveal is the Callaway Big Bertha irons, the perfect game improver iron for higher handicaps who want more consistency, better distance and are easy to hit. Take a look below to see what's improved...
|
Suspended Energy Core - the revolutionary tungsten weight is held low in the clubhead to give an easy high launch with consistent long distance. The Energy Core even provides the club with an appealing noise and feel at impact. 360 Face Cup - this employs a flexible rim around the face which flexes and releases at impact to give faster ball speeds. Combined with the Energy Core, Callaway have been able to make their thinnest clubface which is only going to promote longer distance. Premium Design - Big Bertha now has a slick Smoke PVD finish and comes in 2 exceptionally good shafts as standard, choosing between the KBS Max 90 steel shaft or Recoil ESX graphite. |

Captain & Professional Challenge The time of year has come where I trade in my old Captain partner for a shiny new one and the R&CPGC patrons get to go toe to toe with us in 18 hole matchplay. The winners will have bragging rights over the others for a whole year...sometimes that means more than the material rewards. If by some miracle you and your partner manage to take down the Skipper and I, you'll each receive a sleeve of golf balls but anything else will result in £20 leaving your wallet. If you fancy your chances then take a look at the dates below, the sign up sheet will be on the Pro's Noticeboard outside the men's changing room.

Easter Junior Coaching Soon the kids will be breaking up from school for the Easter holidays and will be looking for something to keep them entertained. So why not bring them along to Rob's Easter Coaching Camp on Thursday 11th April, 12:00pm - 2:00pm? They will learn 2 aspects of the game, one from long game and the other from short game. The main objective is to have fun; the sessions are based around fun mini games which will test their skills without them even knowing it and of course Rob will be on hand to give them some pointers. The session will be limited to just 8 juniors so make sure you reserve your child's place to avoid missing out.

Out with the old, in with the new Sometimes, you buy something new because there's a need; for example, your golf bag has broken zips or the stand no longer works. At other times, you upgrade what you already own because there's something new that you want, such as a new golf bag in-store that looks fantastic. Whatever your reason is, we're offering £20 OFF selected bags in-store when you trade-in your old one with us - no matter its condition! |

Give a Garmin this Mother's Day We'll start by letting you in on a little secret: Mother's Day is on the 31st March this year. This means you have around two weeks until the day comes around, so it's time to start thinking about a present if you haven't already. In the build up to the day, we're reducing the price of Garmin's Approach S10 by £20; so this sleek and lightweight Golf GPS watch is yours for only £119.99. There's a choice of colours and it lasts up to 12 hours in golf mode - what more could you ask for? |

Motocaddy has always been at the forefront of trolley innovation, with the world's first GPS electric trolley amongst their ranks. Well, this year they’ve made some significant upgrades to the immensly popular S1 model, which we think you're going to love. |
| New Motocaddy S1 electric trolley (2019) |
|
We don't like using the term 'entry level' to describe the new S1 as it offers so much more than what this suggests. At first glance, you'll take a liking to its modernised styling and graphics, which will really help make it stand out from other trolleys on the market. Then you get to its technology: new and improved sunlight-friendly LCD display, nine speed settings, advanced battery meter so you needn't worry about it running out mid-round without knowing, and a super-lightweight Lithium battery to name but a few. The new S1 for 2019 is as good as it gets at this price point, so pop in-store to take a look and get one in your hands. |
