Callaway ERC Soft Previously, we had given you a sneak peak at Callaway's brand new ball, the ERC Soft, but what is so good about it and what makes it so different? Take a look below to find out... Long distance, soft feel - the multi material cover has changed the distance ball forever, creating exceptionally fast ball speeds for greater distance but with noticeably higher spin around the greens for excellent control and soft feel. Graphene-infused Dual SoftFast Core - ground-breaking technology maximising compression energy whilst minimising driver spin combines to give a higher launch for greater distance.

| The old, hard distance ball but with a soft centre! |

Triple Track Technology - Triple Track uses Vernier Visual Acuity to improve alignment compared to a regular side stamp alignment aid. The name - after making such a special, innovative golf ball, Callaway felt it was only fair to name it after somebody with those traits. Their founder, Ely Reeves Callaway. So if you're thinking of switching what golf ball you use this season, be sure to pop into the ProShop and pick up your ERC Soft.

| No excuses for poor alignment now!

Scratch Team vs. Kent Boys Last weekend the Scratch Team took on the best offering from Kent under 18s, a perfect pre-season warm up match for both sides. R&CPGC Scratch Team Captain, Mike Bush, had this to say... "A resounding win for our team. We were able to field an almost full strength side and we just had too much for Kent’s under 18 team. It was played in terrible weather, as always seems to be the case in this match, so I’m very grateful to my players for battling through it. I also would like to thank the Captain, John Bullock, for starting the players off and for joining us again after the match. A perfect start to the year for the scratch team, which is going from strength to strength.” A great performance by the team, well played everybody! Take a look below for the full results.

Range Clearance It's that time again where we call upon the R&CPGC patrons to lend a hand to help retrieve some errant range balls from the long grass and tree areas lining the driving range. We will be looking for as many helpers as we can on Thursday 21st March between 2:00pm & 4:00pm. As a token of our appreciation we will gladly give you a FREE range card & a drink afterwards for a job well done. If you're available and would like to help please pop into the ProShop to put your name down.
Bonus Ball Last week was a double draw week meaning there were 2 prizes up for grabs! Picking number 54 was first time winner Steve Angus and serial winner Ray Pooley! Steve bagged himself a matching Under Armour shirt and sweater and Ray picked up a Peter Millar sweater.

Experience the new grip sensation Have you ever replaced the grips on your clubs before? If you have, then you'll remember how much better it felt to hold onto brand new grips over the ball than old, tacky ones. If you haven't, it could be harming your scores and ability to swing with confidence. Right now, we have a fantastic promotion running in-store where you can get your 7-iron regripped for FREE! All you need to decide is whether you want a Golf Pride ALIGN grip or a CP2 Wrap. Decisions, decisions. |

Driver technology continues to be the hot topic of conversation in the golfing world, as brands search for ways of giving us more forgiveness, greater distance and better accuracy off the tee. So, which drivers are really pushing the boundaries this year? |
Introducing Epic Flash from Callaway Callaway’s revolutionary Epic Flash driver utilises the power of Artifical Intelligence (or computers) to create an optimum face design that maximises ball speed no matter where you make contact with the ball - helpful when you don't hit the ball out of the centre every time. Coupled with Callaway’s Jailbreak Technology, this driver will offer you ball speed and distance like you've never seen before. Finding the right club for you can be a serious game-changer and sure-fire way of lowering your scores, and the best way of doing this is by taking advantage of our professional advice during an eye-opening custom fitting. |
