This week Jack Colegate and Lloyd Campbell head to Burhill Golf Club in Surrey for The Kerry London Championship on the EuroPro Tour. The 54 hole tournament around the impressive new course started yesterday and to follow Jack and Lloyd's progress please use the following link:

Captain's Prize Weekend

The list will open this Saturday for the Captain's prize weekend, held this year on Saturday 28th and Sunday 29th June. Entry is £10 per person, per day, must be paid in cash at the time of entry and entries can only be made in the Pro Shop. Please note that the course will be closed all weekend for non-competitors.

Monthly Medal and KCPFA Cup

The list will also open this Saturday for next Saturday's Monthly Medal and KCPFA Cup.

Flightscope is back! 

Do you want to knock shots off your score and win the money off your best mate week in week out? Do you know how far you hit your wedges? 

Well from Monday 2nd until Saturday 14th June Flightscope returns to Rochester & Cobham… this time with a twist! Warren is putting together unique 1 hour sessions on the short game area with the sole purpose to hone in your wedge yardages and give you the upper hand against your competitors. 

For any round of golf, 70% of shots are played from inside the "scoring zone" (less than 100 yards from the flag). This is the area where any improvement can have the biggest impact. By simply knowing how far you hit each of your wedges you will significantly improve the proximity to the hole of your approach shots and leave yourself much shorter birdie putts!

New member of the pro shop team

We welcome Keith Pearce as a new addition to our shop team here at Rochester & Cobham. Keith was heavily involved when the golf club chose to bring its Pro Shop in house and along with myself established many of the shop's standards. He joins us as we look to further develop the service you receive here at Rochester & Cobham.

Captain Pro Challenge 18th May

"The Captain and I faced our toughest challenge so far, against Bob Dench and Nick Gray. The fast starting pair swung the momentum their way from the first hole, accelerating to an early 3 up lead and if Nick hadn't three putted the 7th hole it would have been 4!

Even though we were still 3 down after 9 holes, the Captain and I felt the blip on 7 may have given us the chance we desperately needed to get back in to the game.

The comeback began… Afterburners set on full thrust! A barrage of birdies and nett birdies at the 10th, 11th and 12th sent the momentum back in our favour! Wins then followed at the 13th, 15th and 16th and so we swiftly secured our second victory 3 and 2.

Thanks again to our unlucky challengers, both the Captain and I thoroughly enjoyed the day. We now look forward to our next match against Roger Robinson and Phil Evans on Wednesday 11th June.

All sessions will cost £10 per person. For safety reasons I can only coach a maximum of 8 juniors per session, so spaces will be allocated on a first come first serve basis. Please contact the pro shop on 01474 823 658 to book each individual session. Golf clubs can be provided but please contact us in advance so we can make sure all equipment is available for the day.
