Coaching Success

Trying to convince everybody that having coaching is the best move can be a very tough task, but all you have to do is look at the results from a handful of the ProShop's star students.

I have worked with Alfie Plant for 4 years and he has come on leaps and bounds, taking his handicap from scratch to +5, working his way from County Golf up to the England Elite Team and being inside the top 8 players in GB&I. He has also just been selected to represent England in The Eisenhower Trophy in Mexico.

Shaun Macklin is playing off the lowest handicap he has ever played off, winning the Club Championships just a few weeks ago was a personal highlight for him as this was his goal at the start of the year.

Mollie Lawrence's handicap is also the lowest it's ever been and her return to form this year saw her finish 5th in the English Girls' Open Amateur Stroke Play Championship.

James Nunn invested in a lesson package last year which has seen his handicap drop by 4 shots.

Rob has been working with 10 year old Riley Dowle for nearly a year and his handicap has dropped 6 shots to 19. Riley has become a regular in the R&CPGC Junior Team, won the Junior Championships at Sittingbourne GC and won Kent Cubs u10's.

Rob has also worked with Denis Lloyd this year and over the course of the summer he has dropped 3 shots from his handicap.

No matter whether you're trying to make a career from playing golf or looking to break 90 for the first time the coaching method doesn't change. Fourball Betterball Competition

Further to the coaching success', another of my students, Martin Pegg, was lapping it up on Saturday with his partner Ian Grant in the Fourball Betterball Competition after returning home with 49 points and taking a 1 shot victory in the process!
