It is always great to read about our member's achievements, whether it be on or off the golf course. Our success story this week is for Paul Gray. Paul had a hole in one at the 8th hole on Saturday afternoon in the Darnley Challenge Cup, his first ever! This is our 3rd hole in one in a matter of weeks after the success of Ollie Hawker and Chris Wise. By holing out in a qualifying handicap competition Paul receives a beautiful watch from Hugo Boss as a memento!
Pro-Am
Have you entered your team yet for our Rochester & Cobham Pro-Am this year, held on Thursday 3rd July? Last year was a massive success with a full allocation of 36 teams, attracting some of the top regional Pros from the South East. It will be a great opportunity to play with one of the top pro's in our region and pick their brains for technical ideas, or just sit back and watch them take on our challenging course. You could be fortunate enough to play with the likes of Richard Wallis, a player in the Guinness Book of Records for the all-time lowest round ever recorded in competition, 14 under par! The course itself is in pristine condition at present and is sure to be a real test for all!
We have already received more than 20 entries for this year and with a maximum capacity of 36 teams only a few spaces now remain. TaylorMade fitting day this Saturday!
Make sure you come along this Saturday to our TaylorMade fitting day. From 10am-3pm on the driving range you will be able to try everything from TaylorMade’s current range!

EuroPro Result
Last week Matt Haines and Jack Colegate were competing in the Eagle Orchid Scottish Masters. Both players finished in a tie for 15th place on level par, finishing 5 shots behind the eventual winner.

There is now a break of a couple of weeks on the EuroPro Tour before the next event on the schedule, “The Dawson and Sanderson Travel Classic” at Longhirst Hall on 21st-23rd May.

All sessions will cost £10 per person. For safety reasons I can only coach a maximum of 8 juniors per session, so spaces will be allocated on a first come first serve basis.
